.DISCUSSION...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BEGIN TO AFFECT
NORTHWESTERN AND NORTHERN FIRE DISTRICTS THIS AFTERNOON AND
THIS EVENING AS A WEAK COLD FRONT PASSES THROUGH THE REGION.
SOME MODERATE TO LIGHTER SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR CENTRAL
DISTRICTS THROUGH THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT WITH LIGHT SHOWERS
IN EAST MISSISSIPPI THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING. NO FOG IS
EXPECTED OVERNIGHT AS WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO STAY UP ABOVE
3-5 MPH IF NOT HIGHER.

A DRY AND WARM PERIOD EXPECTED DURING THE DAY FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY WITH TRANSPORT WINDS SWINGING AROUND TO THE NORTH
BEHIND THE BOUNDARY THEN SWITCH AROUND TO THE SOUTH BY THE
WEEKEND. MIXING HEIGHTS WILL INCREASE TO ABOVE 5000 FT WITH
MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES DROPPING INTO THE MID TO
UPPER 20 PERCENTILES.

AS A HEADS UP...CONFIDENCE CONTINUES TO REMAIN IN A SIGNIFICANT
SEVERE WEATHER EPISODE FORM SUNDAY AFTERNOON IN THE DELTA REGION
