THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE NORTHWEST
GULF OF MEXICO...CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
A FEW SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY...MAINLY
ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 10 CORRIDOR...IN RESPONSE TO THE
AFTERNOON SEA BREEZE. OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKES WILL BE THE
PRIMARY CONCERN WITH THIS ACTIVITY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY
RAIN CHANCES WILL BEGIN TO INCREASE ON THURSDAY AS A WAVE OF LOW
PRESSURE CROSSES THE WESTERN GULF OF MEXICO...WHILE A COLD FRONT
WILL ALSO APPROACH THE FORECAST AREA FROM THE NORTH. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BE MORE WIDESPREAD BY FRIDAY AS THE
FRONT CROSSES THE AREA...AND RAINS MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES INTO
EARLY SATURDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN TO A MORE
WIDELY SCATTERED COVERAGE FOR THE WEEKEND AS THE AFOREMENTIONED
FEATURES DEPART THE REGION...BUT ANOTHER STRONG DISTURBANCE ALOFT
WILL LEAD TO A SLIGHT INCREASE IN RAIN CHANCES AGAIN FOR EARLY
NEXT WEEK.
