THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST
CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A COLD HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BUILD INTO THE REGION TODAY.
STRONG AND GUSTY NORTH WINDS WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE DURING THE
AFTERNOON HOURS. UNTIL THEN...SOME LOOSE YARD ITEMS WILL BE BLOWN
AROUND AND SOME HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES WILL HAVE TRAVEL
DIFFICULTIES ON EAST-WEST ROADS.

THE HIGH WILL SETTLE OVER THE REGION TONIGHT WITH LIGHT WINDS AND
CLEAR SKIES EXPECTED. THIS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO FALL TO
RECORD LOWS AT MANY LOCATIONS. SOME FREEZING TEMPERATURES WILL BE
LIKELY ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL LOUISIANA...ROUGH NORTHEAST OF A
LEESVILLE TO OPELOUSAS LINE. WITH SPRING PLANTING
UNDERWAY...PRECAUTIONS WILL NEED TO BE TAKEN IN THESE AREAS TO
PROTECT TENDER VEGETATION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

A GRADUALLY WARMING TREND WILL TAKE PLACE WITH RAIN CHANCES
ENTERING THE FORECAST ON THURSDAY.

GULF OF MEXICO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

STRONG AND GUSTY NORTH WINDS WILL OCCUR TODAY AS A COLD AIR MASS
MOVES OVER RELATIVELY WARMER GULF WATERS. THESE WINDS WILL
DECREASE LATE TODAY AND TONIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES OVER THE REGION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE OFF TO THE EAST ON WEDNESDAY WITH LIGHT TO
MODERATE EAST WINDS FOR MOST OF THE PERIOD.
