.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A TRAVELING GREAT PLAINS COLD FRONT WILL ENTER SOUTHEAST TEXAS BY
MIDAFTERNOON TODAY...BEFORE EXITING SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA BY
MIDEVENING TONIGHT.

NUMEROUS PRE-FRONTAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED. SOME
STORMS MAY BE SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED TORNADOES
THE PRIMARY THREAT. LOCALIZED FLOODING IS ALSO POSSIBLE IN THE
STRONGER SHOWERS.

A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE COASTAL MARSHES AND I-10
PRAIRIES.
