THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST
CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

DRIER AIR WITH LESS HUMID CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR BEHIND A WEAK COLD
FRONT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL COMBINE WITH ABUNDANT GULF
MOISTURE TO PRODUCE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL AVERAGE FROM
1/2 TO 1 INCH DURING THAT PERIOD. HOWEVER...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH SOME SPOTS RECEIVING MORE THAN 3 INCHES OF
RAIN. IF THIS RAIN FALLS IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME...FLOODING OF
STREET AND LOW LYING POOR DRAINAGE AREAS MAY OCCUR. ALSO...FREQUENT
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL BE POSSIBLE.

GULF OF MEXICO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

BRIEF LIGHT OFFSHORE WINDS WILL OCCUR AS A WEAK COLD FRONT MOVES
INTO THE COASTAL WATERS. NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS
TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY
AHEAD OF A DISTURBANCE MOVING DOWN FROM THE PLAINS. THIS
DISTURBANCE WILL HELP INCREASE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE
COASTAL WATERS ON FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. FREQUENT CLOUD TO WATER
LIGHTNING ALONG WITH BRIEF HIGHER WINDS AND SEAS WILL OCCUR WITH
THE STORMS.
