THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST
CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
A STRONG COLD FRONT DROPPING SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA
WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS ALONG AND AHEAD
OF IT THROUGH THE DAY. BEHIND THE FRONT...MUCH COOLER AIR AND
WIDESPREAD RAINS CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT. SOME FREEZING
RAIN IS POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL LOUISIANA TOWARD
SUNRISE MONDAY MORNING AS TEMPERATURES DIP TO AT OR JUST BELOW THE
FREEZING MARK...BUT DUE TO THE SHORT TIME DURATION OF SUCH
TEMPERATURES AS WELL AS SLIGHTLY WARMER SOIL TEMPERATURES LITTLE TO
NO ACCUMULATION OF ICE IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER CAUTION
IS URGED IF TRAVELING OVER BRIDGES OR OVERPASSES IN THESE AREAS LATE
TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
OVERRUNNING-TYPE RAINS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY
ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION AS WARM MOIST AIR ALOFT RIDES OVER THE
MUCH COOLER AIR NEAR THE SURFACE. TEMPERATURES ACROSS MUCH OF THE
AREA...SPECIFICALLY THE INTERSTATE 10 CORRIDOR NORTHWARD...
EXPECTED TO DIP TO AT OR BELOW FREEZING MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY
MORNING. THUS FREEZING PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BECOME A
PROBLEM ON AREA ROADWAYS...STARTING SHORTLY AFTER DARK ACROSS
CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND INTERIOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND EVENTUALLY
SPREADING CLOSER TO I-10 AFTER MIDNIGHT. RESIDENTS ARE URGED TO
CONTINUE MONITORING THE LATEST STATEMENTS AND FORECASTS FOR
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS COMING HAZARDOUS WEATHER EVENT.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE NORTHWEST
GULF OF MEXICO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
SOUTHERLY WINDS ON THE COASTAL WATERS WILL CONTINUE TO DIMINISH
INTO THE AFTERNOON AS THE COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE NORTHWEST
GULF. HOWEVER WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTH AND PICK UP THROUGH
TONIGHT ONCE THE FRONT PASSES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ON THE
COASTAL WATERS BY MONDAY AND LINGER THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. WINDS
AND SEAS WILL DIMINISH SOMEWHAT FOR TUESDAY BEFORE ANOTHER ROUND
OF ENHANCED WINDS AND SEAS POSSIBLY DEVELOPS WITH A PASSING AREA
OF LOW PRESSURE ON WEDNESDAY. THEREAFTER A LIGHT TO MODERATE
OFFSHORE FLOW IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE PERIOD.
