GULF OF MEXICO...CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED
AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON...WITH THE BEST CHANCES OVER CENTRAL AND
SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF
HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY WINDS. OTHERWISE...HIGHS
IN THE MID 90S WITH HEAT INDEX VALUES REACHING 102 TO 105 DEGREES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

HIGH PRESSURE ACROSS THE MID AND UPPER LEVELS WILL CONTINUE ITS
HOLD OVER THE REGION FOR THE WEEKEND. WITH AFTERNOON HIGHS IN THE
MID TO UPPER 90 EXPECTED...CANNOT RULE OUT AT LEAST ISOLATED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM FORMING DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
BY MONDAY...MOISTURE FROM THE EASTERN GULF WILL INCREASE OVER THE
REGION...BRINGING SLIGHTLY BETTER CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THURSDAY.
