...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL POSSIBLE ALONG THE COAST THROUGH THE END
OF THE WEEK...

...HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AND ROUGH SURF ALONG THE COAST...

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR THE COASTAL WATERS...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST FLORIDA...SOUTHEAST
GEORGIA AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 TO 40
MPH WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE COAST THIS MORNING FROM BRUNSWICK TO
JACKSONVILLE AND SOUTH TO ST AUGUSTINE AND A WIND ADVISORY IS IN
EFFECT. THIS STRONG FLOW WILL CONTINUE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES OVER
THE COASTAL WATERS AND WILL IMPACT THE SURF ZONE WITH A HIGH RISK
OF RIP CURRENTS AND ROUGH SURF.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN BANDS MAY DEVELOP ALONG THE COASTAL COUNTIES
TODAY AND TONIGHT. THE MAIN THREAT AREA TODAY WILL BE ACROSS ST
JOHNS AND FLAGLER COUNTIES...WITH THE THREAT AREA SHIFTING
NORTHWARD ALONG THE COAST THROUGH TONIGHT. MODELS ARE STILL VERY
DIVERGENT IN HOW THIS POSSIBLE HEAVY RAINFALL WILL EVOLVE OVER THE
NEXT 24 HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

THE ONSHORE FLOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH AN ELEVATED
RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG WITH A CONTINUED THREAT OF LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL ALONG THE COAST THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK...THEN
EXPANDING AREA-WIDE THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK
AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE APPROACHES FROM THE WEST.
