THIS AFTERNOON...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST FLORIDA...SOUTHEAST
GEORGIA AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

HOT AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO UPPER 90S WILL COMBINE
WITH THE HUMIDITY TO PRODUCE HEAT INDICES OF 105 TO 110 DEGREES
ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA. A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR AREAS
ALONG AND NORTH OF THE I-10 CORRIDOR THAT INCLUDES THE JACKSONVILLE
METRO AREA. HEAT INDICES ACROSS THIS AREA WILL BE AROUND 108
DEGREES. USE EXTRA CAUTION IF SPENDING TIME OUTDOORS AND DRINK
PLENTY OF WATER TO STAY HYDRATED.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED AFTERNOON STORMS ARE FORECAST MAINLY SOUTH
OF THE I-10 CORRIDOR AND TOWARDS THE EAST COAST. A FEW STORMS MAY BE
STRONG AND PRODUCE STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

...SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE STORMS ACROSS SOUTHEAST GEORGIA MONDAY...

...HEAT INDICES 105 TO 110 DEGREES ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA MONDAY...

AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT WILL BE SCATTERED AFTERNOON STORMS TO
MAINLY SOUTHEAST GEORGIA ON MONDAY. THE FRONT WILL INTERACT WITH
A MOIST AND UNSTABLE ENVIRONMENT AND A FEW STORMS MAY BECOME
SEVERE AND PRODUCE STRONG AND POSSIBLY DAMAGING WINDS AND
HAIL.

HOT AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO UPPER 90S WILL COMBINE WITH
THE HUMIDITY TO PRODUCE HEAT INDICES. OF 105 TO 110 DEGREES ON
MONDAY.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED MAINLY AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
EACH DAY. SOME OF THE STORMS WILL PRODUCE STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS...
FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
