THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

PATCHY FOG IS POSSIBLE EARLY THIS MORNING...GENERALLY ALONG AND
NORTHWEST OF A LINE...FROM ANTHONY TO MCPHERSON. VISIBILITIES MAY
BE REDUCED TO AROUND 1 MILE.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS CENTRAL AND FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS
THIS MORNING. SMALL HAIL CANNOT BE RULED OUT WITH THE STRONGER
CELLS.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS LATE THIS AFTERNOON OVER
FAR SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS. THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE NICKEL SIZE HAIL
AND 50 MPH WIND GUSTS BEFORE MOVING EAST OUT OF THE AREA.

GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER WILL BE VERY HIGH ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA
THIS AFTERNOON...AND EXTREME GENERALLY WEST OF I-135. PLEASE REFER
TO THE RED FLAG WARNING FOR MORE INFORMATION. OUTDOOR BURNING
SHOULD BE AVOIDED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING
ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS. A FEW STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE
STORMS ARE POSSIBLE MAINLY CLOSER TO THE OKLAHOMA BORDER. THE MAIN
THREATS WILL BE HAIL OF DIME TO QUARTER SIZE...AND 50 TO 60 MPH
WIND GUSTS.

GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER IS EXPECTED TO BE VERY HIGH ACROSS THE AREA
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AS GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS SET IN
BEHIND A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE.

A MIX OF LIGHT SNOW AND LIGHT RAIN IS POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF THE
AREA THURSDAY NIGHT. NO SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED.
