SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS INTO THE EVENING
HOURS...MAINLY WEST OF THE FLINT HILLS. LOCALLY VERY HEAVY RAIN
AND 50 TO 60 MPH WINDS MAY ACCOMPANY THE STRONGEST STORMS.
ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS MAY AGAIN AFFECT CENTRAL KANSAS LATER
TONIGHT.

HEAT INDICES IN THE 100 TO 104 RANGE WILL LINGER OVER SOUTHEAST
KANSAS FOR A FEW HOURS THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

HEAT INDICES AROUND 100 DEGREES WILL AFFECT SOUTHEAST KANSAS
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE FOR THE ENTIRE AREA FROM WEST
TO EAST WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH THE MOST WIDESPREAD
ACTIVITY ROUGHLY FROM LATE THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. A FEW
STRONG STORMS WITH...SMALL HAIL...GUSTY WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL ARE POSSIBLE.
