SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING DRIZZLE IS POSSIBLE THIS
MORNING...GENERALLY NORTH OF A LINE EXTENDING FROM HUTCHINSON TO
NEWTON...TO EUREKA TO IOLA. MINIMAL IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED
THOUGH...AS TEMPERATURES SHOULD WARM ABOVE FREEZING FAIRLY QUICKLY
ONCE THE PRECIPITATION BEGINS.

A THUNDERSTORM OR TWO WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS
TONIGHT. STRONG OR SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A FEW STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT FOR
AREAS ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF THE KANSAS TURNPIKE. STRONG OR SEVERE
STORMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED.

VERY HIGH GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER IS EXPECTED MONDAY AFTERNOON FOR
LOCATIONS ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 14...AND FOR ALL OF CENTRAL
KANSAS MONDAY AFTERNOON.

LIGHT SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY FOR
PRIMARILY CENTRAL KANSAS. SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATION IS NOT
ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.
