THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

PATCHY FOG IS POSSIBLE EARLY THIS MORNING AREAWIDE...WITH
VISIBILITIES AS LOW AS ONE MILE AT TIMES. WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG IS
NOT EXPECTED.

A FEW LINGERING THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER FAR SOUTHEAST
KANSAS EARLY THIS MORNING. AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM OR TWO MAY
REDEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING OVER MAINLY SOUTHEAST
KANSAS...WITH SOMEWHAT GREATER PROBABILITIES OVERNIGHT ACROSS
GENERALLY THE EASTERN HALF OF KANSAS. ALL-IN-ALL...WIDESPREAD
SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED...ALTHOUGH THE STRONGEST ACTIVITY
WILL BE CAPABLE OF DIME SIZED HAIL AND 55 MPH WINDS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A FEW LINGERING STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THURSDAY...BUT
ACTIVITY SHOULD REMAIN QUITE ISOLATED.

FINALLY...SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ENTER BACK INTO THE
FORECAST BY THE WEEKEND...AS REMNANTS OF A PACIFIC TROPICAL STORM
INTERACT WITH AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND ASSOCIATED COLD
FRONT. A FEW STRONG STORMS CAPABLE OF SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS
ARE POSSIBLE...ALTHOUGH THE GREATEST THREAT WILL BE THE POTENTIAL
FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
