THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

WIND CHILL VALUES THIS MORNING WILL BE IN THE ZERO TO 5 BELOW
RANGE.

FLURRIES WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY WITH LIGHT SNOW INCREASING IN
COVERAGE LATE TONIGHT FOR LOCATIONS ALONG AND WEST OF INTERSTATE
135. ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE VERY LIGHT TODAY AND
TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SNOW WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE SATURDAY AND BECOME MORE INTENSE SATURDAY
NIGHT. A WINTRY MIX OF SLEET...FREEZING RAIN AND SNOW WILL BE
POSSIBLE SUNDAY FOR MAINLY LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTH OF HIGHWAY
400...WITH ALL SNOW SUNDAY OVER CENTRAL KANSAS. THE WINTER
PRECIPITATION WILL COME TO AND END BY EARLY SUNDAY EVENING. SNOW
AMOUNTS FROM FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN THE
2 TO 5 INCH RANGE WITH THE HIGHER AMOUNTS GENERALLY BETWEEN
HIGHWAY 400 AND INTERSTATE 70. ICE ACCUMULATIONS SUNDAY MORNING
OVER SOUTHERN KANSAS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN A QUARTER INCH.

PERIODS OF LIGHT WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL BE POSSIBLE MONDAY
THROUGH TUESDAY. A SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM DOES NOT LOOK LIKELY
THROUGH THESE DAYS.

ANOTHER ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION TUESDAY NIGHT WITH
WIND CHILLS FALLING TO BELOW ZERO OVER CENTRAL KANSAS WEDNESDAY
MORNING.
