THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH ALABAMA AND PORTIONS
OF SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...REMAINDER OF TONIGHT...

LIGHT SLEET OR SNOW FLURRIES WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH
MIDNIGHT...MAINLY SOUTH OF THE TENNESSEE RIVER...HOWEVER NO
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED. COVERAGE OF LIGHT SNOW WILL INCREASE
AFTER MIDNIGHT...MAINLY EAST OF A LINE FROM WINCHESTER TO
GUNTERSVILLE...THROUGH 6 AM. MINOR ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO A TENTH OF
AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE NORTHEAST THROUGH THE NORTHERN
GULF OF MEXICO ON WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY EVENING...AND WILL SPREAD
MOISTURE NORTHWARD INTO THE TENNESSEE VALLEY REGION. SNOW IS EXPECTED
TO DEVELOP FROM THE SOUTH TO THE NORTH ACROSS NORTH ALABAMA AND
SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE BY LATE WEDNESDAY MORNING. THE SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON ON WEDNESDAY WITH SOME
ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING. THERE IS STILL SOME
UNCERTAINTY INVOLVING THE EXPECTED TRACK OF THE SURFACE LOW...AND
THIS COULD DETERMINE THE INTENSITY OF THE WINTER WEATHER ACROSS THE
AREA ON WEDNESDAY AND INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL MAY
BE NEEDED ON WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY EVENING DUE TO THE WINTER
WEATHER POTENTIAL ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.
