THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH ALABAMA AND PORTIONS
OF SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

LIGHT RAIN WILL MIX WITH OR CHANGE TO LIGHT SLEET ACROSS NORTHWEST
ALABAMA BETWEEN 3 AND 6 AM MONDAY...AS A POWERFUL ARCTIC COLD FRONT
MOVES SOUTHEASTWARD.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

A MIXTURE OF LIGHT RAIN AND LIGHT SLEET WILL CONTINUE TO SHIFT
EASTWARD ACROSS THE INTERSTATE 65 CORRIDOR AND INTO NORTHEAST
ALABAMA MONDAY MORNING. THIS MIXTURE MAY BE FOLLOWED BY A BRIEF
PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW FLURRIES.

STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL EXIST ACROSS THE REGION ON MONDAY AND
MONDAY NIGHT IN THE WAKE OF THE COLD FRONT. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS
MAY APPROACH 25 TO 30 MPH IN HIGHER TERRAIN ON MONDAY AFTERNOON. AS
TEMPERATURES FALL INTO THE UPPER TEENS AND LOWER 20S MONDAY NIGHT...
DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILLS WILL DEVELOP...WITH VALUES RANGING FROM 0
TO 10 IN LOWER ELEVATIONS TO 0 TO 10 BELOW IN HIGHER TERRAIN.
