.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

A STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING A POTENTIALLY HEAVY SNOW EVENT ACROSS MUCH
OF NORTHERN ALABAMA ON WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY EVENING. AT THE
MOMENT...2 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE NORTH OF THE
TENNESSEE RIVER WITH 4 TO 5 INCHES POSSIBLE SOUTH OF THE TENNESSEE
RIVER. HOWEVER THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY INVOLVING THE EXPECTED
TRACK OF THE STORM SYSTEM...WHICH COULD AFFECT THE SNOWFALL AMOUNTS.
THE SNOW WILL BEGIN TO TAPER OFF AFTER MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS MONDAY AND TUESDAY AS A
COLD FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE AREA.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL MAY
BE NEEDED ON WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY EVENING DUE TO THE WINTER

1 TO 1.5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BEFORE THE SNOW BEGINS TO TAPER OFF
AFTER MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY. HOWEVER THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY
