THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING...THE COMBINATION OF LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES AROUND 20 PERCENT OR LOWER...AND GUSTY NORTHWEST
WINDS WILL RESULT IN CRITICAL FIRE DANGER IN WESTERN PORTIONS OF
SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...AND A RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT
THROUGH 7 PM FOR VALLEY...SHERMAN...DAWSON...GOSPER AND FURNAS
COUNTIES. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE AREA...NEAR-CRITICAL FIRE DANGER IS
POSSIBLE...BUT WIDESPREAD RAINFALL DURING THE LAST 24 HOURS WILL
LIKELY REDUCE THE THREAT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES RETURN TO THE FORECAST AS EARLY AS LATE
SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK
AREA...WITH CHANCES EXPANDING TO INCLUDE THE REMAINDER OF THE
AREA AT VARIOUS POINTS BETWEEN SATURDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY. THERE
REMAINS CONSIDERABLE UNCERTAINTY REGARDING EXACTLY WHERE...AND
WHEN STORMS MIGHT FORM OVER THE WEEKEND...AND WHETHER THEY WILL BE
MORE WIDESPREAD OR MORE LIMITED IN COVERAGE...BUT THE SATURDAY
EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING TIME FRAME STILL BEARS WATCHING FOR
AT LEAST A SLIGHT POSSIBILITY OF SEVERE STORMS.

IN ADDITION...AT LEAST PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA COULD SEE
STRONG SUSTAINED WINDS NEAR 30 MPH AT TIMES DURING THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS. WINDS OF THIS MAGNITUDE CURRENTLY APPEAR MOST
FAVORED TO OCCUR ON SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY FROM A SOUTHERLY
DIRECTION...AND ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY FROM A NORTHWESTERLY
DIRECTION.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
