TEXAS...NORTHEAST TEXAS AND SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY FOR AREAS ALONG AND NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM COMANCHE TO
DALLAS TO SHERMAN. THE WINTER STORM WATCH CONTINUES FOR AREAS
NORTH OF A LAMPASAS TO WACO TO ATHENS LINE.

WINTER PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS PARTS OF
NORTHWEST NORTH TEXAS SUNDAY AFTERNOON...SPREADING INTO CENTRAL
TEXAS OVERNIGHT INTO MONDAY. MOST OF THIS PRECIPITATION WILL BE IN
THE FORM OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN...PRODUCING SLICK AND
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS IN MANY AREAS BY MONDAY MORNING.
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN AT OR BELOW FREEZING ACROSS MOST OF NORTH
TEXAS THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...SO THE THREAT OF SLICK ROADWAYS
WILL LIKELY CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY.

SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO ONE AND ONE HALF INCH ARE POSSIBLE
NORTHWEST OF THE DFW METROPLEX AND UP TO ONE INCH IN THE REST OF
THE WARNING AREA. LATE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY
MORNING...THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE LIGHTNING AND BRIEF RAPID
SLEET ACCUMULATIONS NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM COMANCHE TO DALLAS TO
BONHAM. WITHIN THE WINTRY AREAS...SOME LOCATIONS MAY RECEIVE AS
MUCH AS ONE TENTH INCH ACCUMULATION OF ICE DUE TO FREEZING RAIN.

SOUTH OF THE WATCH AREA...SOME FREEZING RAIN OR SLEET MAY ALSO
OCCUR MONDAY...PRODUCING LOCALIZED SLICK CONDITIONS ON BRIDGES AND
OVERPASSES.

THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON BRINGS LOW CHANCES OF A
MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW TO NORTH AND CENTRAL TEXAS.
