11/23/2014                   STEWART            GA   NWS STORM SURVEY

            A TORNADO CROSSED INTO STEWART COUNTY FROM ALABAMA AND
            TRACKED NORTHEAST ON A SEMI-CONTINUOUS 119 MILE PATH.
            THE TORNADO WAS AN EF-2 AT ITS PEAK...BUT CAUSED EF-1
            DAMAGE THROUGH MOST OF ITS TRACK. TREES WERE DOWNED IN
            STEWART AND TALBOT COUNTIES BEFORE THE TORNADO
            STRENGTHENED INTO AN EF-2 IN UPSON COUNTY. IN A
            SUBDIVISION NORTH OF THOMASTON A RESIDENTIAL LEASING
            OFFICE WAS DESTROYED. THE TORNADO CAUSED EF-1 DAMAGE IN
            LAMAR AND BUTTS COUNTIES BEFORE LIFTING AS IT CROSSED
            INTO NEWTON COUNTY.
