CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

...STRONG TO ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING ACROSS NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA...

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

STRONG GUSTY WINDS...HEAVY RAINFALL...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.

DISCUSSION...

A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH INTO THE STATE TODAY. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AHEAD OF THE FRONT. SOME OF
THESE STORMS WILL LIKELY BECOME STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS...HEAVY
RAIN...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. AN ISOLATED SEVERE STORM OR
TWO...WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND VERY HEAVY RAIN WHICH COULD LEAD TO
MINOR FLOODING...CANNOT BE RULED OUT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

DRIER AIR WILL MOVE IN BEHIND THE FRONT FOR WEDNESDAY INTO
THURSDAY...WITH ANOTHER SYSTEM APPROACHING FOR THE WEEKEND. A
PROLONGED PERIOD OF INCREASED CHANCES FOR STORMS IS EXPECTED
THROUGH MONDAY.
