.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

...MODERATE RAINFALL CONTINUES INTO THE OVERNIGHT ACROSS ALL OF
NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA ALONG WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS
POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF CENTRAL GEORGIA...

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

PONDING OF WATER ALONG LOW LYING... FLOOD PRONE AREAS IS LIKELY.
SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

DISCUSSION...

AN UPPER DISTURBANCE WILL BRING WIDESPREAD SHOWERS TO THE AREA
OVERNIGHT. A WARM FRONT ACROSS SOUTH GEORGIA WILL DRIFT NORTH AND
BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TO PARTS OF CENTRAL
GEORGIA FOR THE FIRST HALF OF TONIGHT... MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTH
OF A LA GRANGE TO MACON LINE. RAINFALL COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMES
ACROSS CENTRAL GEORGIA WHERE OVER TWO INCHES OF RAIN IS EXPECTED
THROUGH MONDAY MORNING. RISES ON CREEKS AND RIVERS CAN BE
EXPECTED... WITH ISOLATED BRIEF MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

AN UPPER DISTURBANCE WILL RESULT IN A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PARTS OF CENTRAL GEORGIA MONDAY MORNING. A
COLD FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TO NORTH AND
CENTRAL GEORGIA THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT. SEVERE STORMS ARE
NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
