THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL FOR A RAIN AND SNOW MIX ACROSS THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS OF NORTH GEORGIA LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY
MORNING.

...WATCHING CLOSELY FOR POTENTIAL STORM SYSTEM LATE NEXT TUESDAY
INTO CHRISTMAS EVE...

WE REMAIN ALMOST A WEEK AWAY FROM THE NEXT DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM
SO DETAILS ARE DIFFICULT TO COME BY AT THIS POINT. WHAT WE DO KNOW
IS THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A SIGNIFICANT STORM SYSTEM TO
DEVELOP FOR THE BUSY PRE CHRISTMAS TRAVEL PERIOD NEXT WEEK. WE
WILL BE MONITORING TWO PHASES OF THE STORM WHICH WILL INCLUDE THE
INITIAL PHASE LATE TUESDAY WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG WINDS
SHOULD THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP ALONG THE SOUTHERN TIER AHEAD OF A
COLD FRONT.

THE SECOND PHASE WILL BE BEHIND THE COLD FRONT AS COLD AIR RUSHES
IN AND RESIDUAL MOISTURE ALLOWS FOR A RAIN AND SNOW MIX FOR THE
NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE AREA THROUGH EARLY CHRISTMAS EVE.
AGAIN...MUCH TOO EARLY TO PINPOINT ANY DETAILS WITH THIS SYSTEM
THIS FAR OUT BUT PLEASE MONITOR SUBSEQUENT FORECASTS FROM THIS
OFFICE ON THIS POTENTIAL STORM SYSTEM FOR NEXT WEEK.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
