THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE TODAY INTO THIS EVENING ACROSS
NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

DISCUSSION...

A BACKDOOR COLD FRONT WILL PUSH ACROSS NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA
TODAY AND WHILE THIS WILL INCREASE THE CHANCE OF
PRECIPITATION...CLOUD COVERAGE SHOULD HELP TO LIMIT INSTABILITY
AND THUS ONLY ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED.
ALSO WITH INSTABILITY SOMEWHAT LIMITED...NO SEVERE STORMS ARE
EXPECTED AT THIS TIME. THE BEST CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
IN THE 2PM TO 8PM TIMEFRAME AND BY MIDNIGHT...THE THREAT OF
THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD END WITH ONLY SHOWERS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...
THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTH AND
PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA ON MONDAY WITH SOME LINGERING
MOISTURE ACROSS THE AREA. THE CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THEN RETURNS
FOR THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. THE BEST CHANCES AT THIS TIME
APPEAR TO BE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WITH A COLD FRONT MOVING INTO THE
STATE.
