...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL
GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHWEST AND WEST
CENTRAL GEORGIA LATE TONIGHT...

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

THE PRIMARY HAZARDS FROM ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TODAY WILL BE STRONG
GUSTY WINDS AND OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

THE PRIMARY HAZARDS TONIGHT...IS THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG TO
SEVERE STORMS DEVELOPING AHEAD AND ALONG A SQUALL LINE THAT COULD
PUSH INTO FAR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA LATE TONIGHT.
THESE STORMS COULD PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED TORNADOES.

DISCUSSION...

WEAK DISTURBANCES IN THE SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT WILL INTERACT WITH A
DEEPENING MOIST SOUTHERLY SURFACE TO MID LEVEL FLOW TO BRING A
CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS TO PARTS OF NORTHWEST AND
WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

INCREASING DEEP LAYER WIND SHEAR AND INSTABILITY AHEAD OF AN
APPROACHING COLD FRONT COULD ENHANCE STORMS ALONG AND AHEAD OF A
SQUALL LINE LATE TONIGHT. THIS SQUALL LINE COULD PUSH INTO FAR
NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA BETWEEN 4 AM AND 6 AM TUESDAY
MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

THUNDERSTORMS CHANCES...WITH SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL POSSIBLE...WILL CONTINUE TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. STRONG
DAMAGING WINDS AND THE THREAT OF ISOLATED TORNADOES WILL BE THE
PRIMARY HAZARDS.
