THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON
AND TONIGHT ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA WITH ISOLATED DEVELOPMENT ACROSS
CENTRAL GEORGIA. HIGHEST CHANCES FOR ANY ISOLATED STRONG AND EVEN
A SEVERE STORM WILL BE LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EVENING
NORTH OF A LINE FROM CARROLLTON TO ATHENS. FREQUENT
LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL BE THE MAIN
CONCERNS WITH STORMS. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL DECREASE AFTER
SUNSET...THOUGH LINGER ON ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA WHICH COULD STILL
SEE SOME RAIN OVERNIGHT AS FRONT APPROACHES THE REGION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BE MORE NUMEROUS FRIDAY
INTO SATURDAY AS A FRONTAL BOUNDARY DRIFTS INTO THE STATE.
GENERALLY DIURNAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST THROUGH
WEDNESDAY...HOWEVER SOME DRYING ACROSS THE NORTH IS POSSIBLE EARLY
WEEK WHICH WOULD HELP TO DIMINISH THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT ACROSS
THAT AREAS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT REQUESTED BUT SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO SUBMIT REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER THROUGH THE WEB BY GOING TO
WEATHER.GOV/ATLANTA.
