THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

STRONG WINDS ARE EXPECTED TODAY AS A FRONT PUSHES INTO SOUTH
GEORGIA. NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH ARE
EXPECTED...WITH HIGHER GUSTS. THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF NORTH
GEORGIA COULD SEE GUSTS AS HIGH AS 40 MPH.

THESE WINDS WILL COMBINE WITH DRY SOILS TO CREATE HIGH FIRE DANGER
ACROSS NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

A DISTURBANCE WILL BRING WIDESPREAD RAIN SHOWERS TO THE AREA
SUNDAY INTO EARLY MONDAY...RAIN TOTALS EXPECTED BETWEEN ONE INCH
AND HALF AN INCH. WHILE TEMPERATURES SHOULD BE TOO WARM FOR
WINTRY PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE MAJORITY OF THE AREA...A SLIGHT
CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW CANNOT BE RULED OUT FOR PORTIONS OF FAR
NORTH GEORGIA EARLY SUNDAY AND ALSO MONDAY MORNING AS THE SYSTEM
EXITS EASTWARD. LITTLE TO NO ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED. ANOTHER
SYSTEM MID WEEK WILL BRING A SMALL CHANCE FOR RAIN OR SNOW
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY MORNINGS. PLEASE KEEP MONITORING FOR
FUTURE UPDATES. OTHERWISE NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS
TIME.
