THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

WIDESPREAD RAIN WILL PUSH ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT AND PERSIST INTO
MONDAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN ADJUSTED UPWARD WITH AROUND 2
INCHES NOW POSSIBLE FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH GEORGIA. MOST AREAS WILL
BE ABLE TO HANDLE THIS AMOUNT OF RAIN GIVEN THE RECENT DRY
CONDITIONS BUT BE ALERT FOR PONDING OF WATER IN THE NORMALLY POOR
DRAINAGE AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

AS THE RAIN PUSHES ACROSS THE AREA ON MONDAY...ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF THE
FORECAST AREA. ALTHOUGH AM ISOLATED STRONG STORM IS NOT OUT OF THE
QUESTION...NO SEVERE STORMS ARE EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

AN EXTREMELY COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL MOVE IN BEHIND THE RAIN FOR
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...POSSIBLY BREAKING RECORDS FOR MUCH OF THE
AREA. WEDNESDAY MORNING MAY SEE LOWS IN THE TEENS FOR SOME
AREAS...BUT AT LEAST LOWER TO MID 20S. WIND CHILLS WILL BE IN THE
TEENS TO SINGLE DIGITS BOTH TUESDAY MORNING AND WEDNESDAY MORNING.
STAY TUNED FOR LATER UPDATES ON THIS COLD BLAST. NO OTHER
HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
