THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED TODAY AND TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION...

STRONG SYSTEM TO THE WEST IS KEEPING AMPLE MOISTURE ACROSS THE
STATE TODAY. THIS MOISTURE WILL COMBINE WITH INCREASING
INSTABILITY FROM DAYTIME HEATING...RESULTING IN SCATTERED SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS. THE MAIN CONCERN WILL BE HEAVY RAINFALL...AND
FLASH FLOODING COULD BE A CONCERN IN AREAS THAT HAVE SLOW MOVING
STORMS OR STORMS TRAINING OVER THE SAME LOCATIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

A FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE STATE LATE THURSDAY...WITH WIDESPREAD
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE DAY. ALTHOUGH STORM CHANCES
GENERALLY DECREASE ACROSS THE AREA FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS RETURN BY SUNDAY. A SECOND FRONT IS EXPECTED EARLY
NEXT WEEK...WITH HIGHER SET TO PUSH THROUGH THE STATE ON MONDAY.
AT THIS TIME SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED THROUGH TUESDAY...BUT A FEW
STORMS MAY BE STRONG.
