.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF NORTH AND
CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH...
OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND BRIEF HEAVY RAIN. PONDING
OF WATER ALONG LOW LYING... FLOOD PRONE AREAS IS LIKELY. SEVERE
STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

DISCUSSION...

AN UPPER DISTURBANCE WILL BRING WIDESPREAD SHOWERS TO THE AREA
TODAY AND TONIGHT. A WARM FRONT ACROSS SOUTH GEORGIA WILL DRIFT
NORTH AND BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TO PARTS OF NORTH
AND CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... MAINLY ALONG AND
SOUTH OF A CARROLLTON TO WARRENTON LINE. RAINFALL COULD BE HEAVY
AT TIMES ACROSS CENTRAL GEORGIA WHERE OVER TWO INCHES OF RAIN IS
EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT. RISES ON CREEKS AND RIVERS CAN BE
EXPECTED... WITH ISOLATED BRIEF MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

AN UPPER DISTURBANCE WILL RESULT IN A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PARTS OF CENTRAL GEORGIA MONDAY MORNING. A
COLD FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TO NORTH AND
CENTRAL GEORGIA THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT. SEVERE STORMS ARE
NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
