THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

...ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT...

DISCUSSION...

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE LATE THIS
EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. ALTHOUGH MOST OF THE ACTIVITY
WILL REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LIMITS...A FEW STORMS MAY BECOME LOCALLY
STRONG TO SEVERE WITH STRONG WINDS AND HAIL THE MAIN CONCERNS.
THIS WOULD BE MAINLY CONFINED TO THE AREAS FROM LA GRANGE TO MACON
AND POINTS SOUTHWEST. IN ADDITION...STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL
TO PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WITH LOCALIZED FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

...ADDITIONAL SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND MONDAY...

DISCUSSION...

ANOTHER STRONG UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM WILL PUSH ACROSS THE AREA SUNDAY
AFTERNOON WITH A COLD FRONT MOVING THROUGH MONDAY MORNING WITH
ADDITIONAL STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE. THE MAIN HAZARDS
ASSOCIATED WITH THESE SYSTEMS WILL BE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS BUT
ALSO CANNOT RULE OUT AN ISOLATED TORNADO FOR THE NORTHERN HALF OF
THE FORECAST AREA MONDAY.

IN ADDITION...THIS PAST WEEKS STEADY RAINFALL HAS SET THE STAGE
FOR POTENTIAL MINOR FLOODING WITH THE HEAVIER RAINS EXPECTED THE
NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. RESIDENTS AND MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR
MINOR FLOODING..ESPECIALLY OF THE NORMALLY PRONE AREAS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR ACTIVATION ESPECIALLY LATE THIS
EVENING.
