...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVER PORTIONS OF NORTH GEORGIA
   INTO MID AFTERNOON...

.WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...
THE MAIN THREAT WILL BE BRIEF LIGHTNING.

.DISCUSSION...
A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA INTO THE AFTERNOON.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL BEGIN AFFECTING THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT
OR MONDAY BRINGING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION THROUGH
THURSDAY. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT WEATHER EXPECTED DURING THIS PERIOD
IS IN THE TUESDAY TO THURSDAY TIMEFRAME. AT THIS TIME...ONE TO TWO
INCHES OF RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. THE
GREATEST AMOUNTS CAN BE EXPECTED OVER FAR NORTH GEORGIA. THIS COULD
LEAD TO SOME MINOR RIVER FLOODING. THIS FAR OUT THOUGH THE AMOUNTS
CAN CHANGE SIGNIFICANTLY SO CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE FORECASTS.
IN ADDITION...THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED SEVERE
STORMS...MOST LIKELY ON WEDNESDAY...SO KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THE
SITUATION.
