A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ZAPATA...JIM HOGG...BROOKS
STARR...AND HIDALGO COUNTIES UNTIL 2 AM CDT SATURDAY. OTHERWISE
...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE REMAINING PORTIONS
OF DEEP SOUTH TEXAS AND THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY...PRODUCING LARGE
HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...AND ISOLATED TORNADOES.

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT THE BEACHES OF SOUTH
PADRE ISLAND AND AT BOCA CHICA BEACH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

AN ELEVATED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS IS POSSIBLE AT THE LOCAL BEACHES
MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY DUE TO STRONGER WINDS AND HIGHER SEAS.
