THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR DEEP SOUTH TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT THE BEACHES OF SOUTH
PADRE ISLAND AND AT BOCA CHICA BEACH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING AS A WEAK COLD FRONT APPROACHES. THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK
THAT SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE SEVERE...PRODUCING WIND
GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH. THE HIGHEST RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE
ALONG AND EAST OF THE HIGHWAY 281 AND INTERSTATE 69C CORRIDOR. IF
SEVERE WEATHER OCCURS...THE MOST LIKELY TIME PERIOD WILL BE FROM 5
PM TO 11 PM CST.

AN ELEVATED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS IS LIKELY AT THE LOCAL BEACHES
THROUGH TUESDAY.

A WIND ADVISORY IS POSSIBLE FOR PORTIONS OF DEEP SOUTH TEXAS AND
THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY ON SATURDAY.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE GULF OF MEXICO WATERS
EAST OF PADRE ISLAND FROM 0 TO 60 NAUTICAL MILES OFFSHORE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON
AND ESPECIALLY SATURDAY EVENING. STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
ARE POSSIBLE WITH WIND GUSTS OF 35 TO 50 KNOTS POSSIBLE FOR THE
LOWER TEXAS COASTAL WATERS.

THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR THE GULF OF MEXICO WATERS EAST OF
PADRE ISLAND FROM 0 TO 60 NAUTICAL MILES OFFSHORE WILL REMAIN IN
EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST SATURDAY.

ADDITIONAL SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES ARE LIKELY ALONG THE LOWER TEXAS
COAST MONDAY AND TUESDAY
