THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR DEEP SOUTH TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN FROM SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS IS
POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON.

THE CORE OF A STRONG TROPICAL WAVE WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA
TONIGHT. ANY STRONGER RAINBANDS OR TRAINING STORMS WILL PRODUCE A
RISK FOR FLASH FLOODING AND A FLASH FLOOD WATCH GOES INTO EFFECT
AT MIDNIGHT FOR ZAPATA...STARR...HIDALGO...WILLACY AND CAMERON COUNTIES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY
EVENING FOR ZAPATA...STARR...HIDALGO...WILLACY AND CAMERON
COUNTIES. HEAVY RAINFALL REMAINS POSSIBLE AS A COLD FRONT STALLS
OVER THE AREA AS A TROPICAL WAVE MOVES INLAND.

SWELL FROM THE CORE OF THE TROPICAL WAVE ARRIVES EARLY SATURDAY
MORNING AND WILL PRODUCE HIGH SURF ON THE CAMERON AND WILLACY
COUNTY BEACHES...A HIGH SURF ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT AND A HIGH RISK
OF RIP CURRENTS IS ANTICIPATED.

INCREASED WATER LEVELS ARE ANTICIPATED DURING THE EVENING HIGH
TIDE CYCLE AND WATER LEVELS WILL LIKELY BRIEFLY MOVE INTO THE
DUNES SATURDAY EVENING. A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT
SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FOR CAMERON AND WILLACY COUNTIES.

STRENGTHENING EAST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT AND INCREASED SWELL
FROM THE CORE OF A TROPICAL WAVE IN THE BAY OF CAMPECHE WILL
PRODUCE ROUGH SEAS. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY BEGINS LATE TONIGHT FOR
THE GULF WATERS OF THE LOWER TEXAS COAST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

STRONG WINDS AND ROUGH SEAS ARE FORECAST TO PERSIST AND A SMALL
