THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR DEEP SOUTH TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH GOES INTO EFFECT AT MIDNIGHT AND INCLUDES
WILLACY, CAMERON, HIDALGO, STARR AND ZAPATA COUNTIES. THE
POTENTIAL FOR WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAIN COULD LEAD TO LOW LYING AREAS
AND AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING TO BE INUNDATED BY WATER. ALSO,
ROADWAYS AND HIGHWAY INTERSECTIONS COULD BECOME FLOODED MAKING
TRAVEL VERY DANGEROUS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR WILLACY, CAMERON,
HIDALGO, STARR AND ZAPATA COUNTIES SATURDAY. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE CAPABLE OF FLOODING
OF LOW LYING AREAS AS WELL AS ROADWAYS AND HIGHWAY INTERSECTIONS.

AN ELEVATED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG AREA BEACHES IS EXPECTED
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AND MAY LINGER INTO MONDAY.
