THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE COUNTIES SERVED BY THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF CENTRAL
ALABAMA THIS AFTERNOON AND WILL CREATE A HIGH FIRE DANGER. OUTDOOR
BURNING IS DISCOURAGED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING A CHANCE OF STRONG TO
SEVERE STORMS TO THE SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL ALABAMA LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT AND INTO SUNDAY MORNING. AT THIS TIME...THERE IS A
THREAT OF SEVERE STORMS...INCLUDING TORNADOES...FROM 3 AM THROUGH
NOON ON SUNDAY. THERE ARE STILL SOME UNCERTAINTIES WITH THIS
SYSTEM AND REFINEMENTS WILL BE MADE TO THE FORECAST OVER THE
COMING DAYS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT MAY BE
NEEDED LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND INTO SUNDAY MORNING.
