THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE COUNTIES SERVED BY THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A WINTER STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH AND HAS THE POTENTIAL TO
PRODUCE ACCUMULATING SNOW AND SLEET WITH 2 TO 6 INCHES
POSSIBLE...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS...ACROSS THE NORTHERN HALF
OF CENTRAL ALABAMA BY TONIGHT. THE GREATEST IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED
TO BE IN THE COUNTIES NEAR AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 20 BEGINNING
LATE THIS MORNING AND CONTINUING THROUGH TONIGHT. GIVEN THE EXPECTED
TRACK AND INTENSITY OF THIS SYSTEM...THERE WILL LIKELY BE A TIGHT
GRADIENT IN ACCUMULATING WINTER PRECIPITATION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
