THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE COUNTIES SERVED BY THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF HEAT AND HUMIDITY...HEAT INDEX VALUES
WILL BE NEAR 105 DEGREES FOR A FEW HOURS THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS
SOUTH AND WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PUSH SOUTH ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA ON
MONDAY. ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE GENERALLY ALONG
AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 85 AND US HWY 80 CORRIDOR MONDAY AFTERNOON.
THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS AND LARGE
HAIL.
