NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WINTRY PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATE THIS EVENING OVER
THE NORTHWEST AND GRADUALLY SPREAD SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT
AND INTO MONDAY MORNING. THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION COULD REACH AS FAR
SOUTH AS A TUSCALOOSA...TO BIRMINGHAM...TO GADSDEN LINE. SOME
ACCUMULATION OF ICE IS EXPECTED...CREATING TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THERE IS A ANOTHER CHANCE OF A SNOW...SLEET...AND FREEZING RAIN
MIXTURE MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING...GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH
OF A DEMOPOLIS TO ROANOKE LINE.

A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION WILL BE POSSIBLE ON WEDNESDAY AS A
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS ALONG THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO. THE
TRACK AND INTENSITY OF THE SYSTEM IS SOMEWHAT UNCERTAIN BUT THE
SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE A WIDESPREAD WINTER WEATHER
EVENT ACROSS CENTRAL ALABAMA.
