THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLES.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

BRIEF GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 50 MPH MAY DEVELOP ACROSS THE OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLE AND THE FAR NORTH TEXAS PANHANDLE AS RAIN FROM HIGH BASED
SHOWERS FALLS INTO DRY AIR NEAR THE SURFACE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY ACROSS THE TEXAS AND
OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES. ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP ARE EXPECTED TO
REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LEVELS AT THIS TIME.

A COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH THE PANHANDLES ON SUNDAY WITH STRONG
NORTH WINDS EXPECTED BEHIND IT. SUSTAINED NORTH WINDS BETWEEN 30 AND
40 MPH WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE SUNDAY THROUGH
MONDAY MORNING...WITH AREAS OF BLOWING DUST POSSIBLE. FREEZING OR
NEAR FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY
MORNING...AND AGAIN MONDAY NIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY MORNING ACROSS MUCH
OF THE PANHANDLES. IN ADDITION...LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW ARE POSSIBLE
SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING. UNCERTAINTY REMAINS HIGH...BUT LIGHT
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UP TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE...MAINLY ACROSS THE
WESTERN OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE AND THE NORTHWESTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE. THE
STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS CAN CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW...POTENTIALLY
CREATING HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

ELEVATED TO POSSIBLY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY.
