February 10, 2009 Tornadoes

During the afternoon and evening hours of February 10, 2009, tornadoes occurred over parts of the central third of Oklahoma and north Texas. Portions of the Oklahoma City metro area were hit, and a killer tornado struck the the town of Lone Grove, OK. Officials from the NWS and NOAA are continuing to investigate this event.
