Damage Survey Information for the
May 8, 2003 Red Rock Tornado

Meteorologists completed a damage survey of a tornado that occurred in Noble County, Oklahoma on Thursday, May 8, 2003.

A short narrow tornado path was noted, beginning 3/4 mile west of Red Rock...and ending 1/2 mile north of Red Rock. Damage was mainly confined to trees, and the Red Rock tornado has been rated as F0. The path was 50 yards wide and less than one mile long. The tornado was spotted by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol at 6:10 pm CDT on May 8, 2003.
