David Christy is the Emergency Management Director for Waukomis, and is a member of the Waukomis Fire Department. He took these damage photos during the late morning hours of January 30, 2002 in Waukomis. At the time these photos were taken, the ice accumulations were reaching a critical stage, and hundreds of large tree limbs were down all over town, along with at least two power lines.
