Short Term Forecast

A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will linger across western Oklahoma and portions of western north Texas through sunset before dissipating. Otherwise... dry conditions and a warming trend will continue through at least Wednesday. Hot temperatures will be likely Monday with much of the area in the 90s. The earliest chance for thunderstorms may be Thursday as an upper level storm system possibly begins to influence the region. However, a strong cap will need to be overcome for thunderstorm development to occur.
