Scattered thunderstorms moved across parts of central and southern
Oklahoma duing the afternoon. Lightning struck an oil tank battery in
Marshall County, setting it on fire. In Grady County SH 19 was closed
between Alex and Chickasha due to high water and a mobile home was
destroyed by thunderstorm winds 2 miles south of Alex. Damage was
estimated at $20,000.
