Wintertime in the Southern Plains provides us opportunities for various types of weather. Periods of snow, ice, sleet, very cold temperatures, and very cold wind chills are all possible from November through March. Now is a good time familiarize yourself with some of the resources provided to you by the National Weather Service, as well as other agencies, that can help keep you safe during the upcoming Winter season.
