We have links to this information in the "Severe Weather/Disaster Preparedness" section of our Severe Weather Safety and Survival page.

Where can I find information on flood/hurricane/lightning/tornado safety?

For information on "inland" storms, see our Severe Weather Safety and Survival page. FEMA has another excellent source of safety information on their Are You Ready? page.

Can I get pamphlets on storm safety? ...for children?

The NWS distributes several pamphlets on storm safety, including hurricane, tornado, lightning, and winter storm preparedness - and a few specifically for children. Contact the NWS Forecast Office that serves your area for more information.
