Peak Wind Gusts Associated with the
Winter Storm of January 31-February 1, 2011

The map below is a collection of peak wind gusts taken from ASOS (Automated Surface Observing System) sites and Oklahoma Mesonet sites from the winter storm on February 1, 2011. Several sites had incomplete records likely due to icing, or a combination of icing and strong winds during the event.
