...RATINGS ADJUSTED FOR TWO TORNADOES FROM MONDAY MAY 10...

AFTER ANALYZING ADDITIONAL GROUND AND AERIAL SURVEY DATA FROM THE
MONDAY MAY 10 TORNADO OUTBREAK...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN
NORMAN HAS CHANGED THE RATINGS ON TWO OF THE TORNADOES.

MOORE-CHOCTAW TORNADO...
THIS TORNADO IS BEING RATED AS AN EF4 BASED ON CAREFUL ASSESSMENT OF
PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA AROUND I-40 AND CHOCTAW
ROAD. THIS AREA WAS NOT ACCESSIBLE TO GROUND SURVEY TEAMS ON TUESDAY.

NORMAN-LITTLE AXE TORNADO...
THIS TORNADO IS ALSO BEING RATED AS AN EF4. ADDITIONAL ANALYSIS OF
GROUND AND AERIAL SURVEY DATA INDICATE THAT LOW END EF4 DAMAGE
OCCURRED NEAR THE END OF THE NORMAN TORNADO TRACK.

REMEMBER TORNADO RATINGS AND OTHER INFORMATION ARE ALL PRELIMINARY
AND STILL SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
